A carcass fallen in the wilderness
It does not fall all alone
Almost all
who came out of Egypt
Never made to their home
They were the ones who
questioned God
Bawked at his commands
Terrified by the enemies
The
giants of the land
This world today is just the same
An ocean full of
unbelief
The people keep turning back
Not seeking God for
relief
Help us Lord to be different
To trust your every word
Not to
be tossed and turned
By the trials of this world

Lord, help me to be patient
To on you always wait
Help me not to move fast
While you, your time you take
You always time things perfectly
Your ways are always best
The patience you are teaching me
Will help me pass the test
It's human nature that wants things now
Another way of the world
We are called to be different
As your plan unfurls
To on you always wait
Help me not to move fast
While you, your time you take
You always time things perfectly
Your ways are always best
The patience you are teaching me
Will help me pass the test
It's human nature that wants things now
Another way of the world
We are called to be different
As your plan unfurls
A curse causeless does not come (Proverbs 26:2)
When David took Uriah
Out of his way
To protect his secret with Bathesheba
There was a heavy price to pay
The Lord spoke through Nathan
And told him what he'd do
I'm going to take your child's life
The prophecy came true
Saul displeased God
he let an enemy king live
Samuel stepped up and used his sword
The Lord his judgement he did give
Saul would lose his kingship
His life was filled with strife
Samuel told him plain and simple
To obey is better than sacrifice
Jezebel had a heavy price to pay
For the man that she had stoned
The dogs licked up her blood
When she was thrown out of her home
Miriam became leperous
And for 7 days was without the camp
For speaking badly about Moses
God would not allow that
A crowd of kids were wiped out
Because of what they did
Making fun of Gods prophet
sent judgement down on them
The list goes on and on
And in Romans 13 You'll see
There is no powers except the powers that be
All judgement comes from him

Jehoram, son of Jehoshaphat
He received the kingship
Would he follow the Lord?
His brothers inherited silver and gold
But he gave them the sword
He had a little problem
His father had introduced
His affinity with wicked Ahab
With the ungodly he had a truce
He married Ahabs daughter
And looked to those around
Built up the idol high places
Fornication was also found
God wouldn't destroy Judah
Because of his promise of a seed
He sent the prophet Elijah
To tell the king what would come to be
You will get a sickness
As well as those who you hold dear
Your bowels will fall out
Death is coming near
(2 Chr 21)
Evil communication corrupt good manners
Be not deceived (1 Cor 15:33)
The influence of those around you
Can change your destiny
