Plans for the Future (by my husband)

My plan is very simple and consist of only one......
I plan to live forever in the kingdom to come....
The Savior sent down a sample, of the joy yet to be......
I tasted of this Heavenly Gift and it has become my every plea........
The hunger for more is growing, moving at the speed of Light......
Desires for righteousness and Godliness have become my perpetual plight......
I can see that this sample is just a mere shadow of things to come.....
A lamp to light the path of righteousness to carry me home....
I will not be satisfied, with a short life full of woe's......
I have tasted of the life to come, Lord where can I go????
College and a career may satisfy some...
As for me and my house, by the Grace of God, we will plan for the Kingdom to come!!!!

Gather the people, Lord (Deut 4:10)
Open their ears
Pour your word upon them
Please let them hear

Your Way is the only way (John 14:6)
Help them to see
This life is just temporary
Save them, we plea

The false cares of this life
Are merely a test
To see where their hope is
Only in the Lord, will they find their rest (Hebrews 4:3)

Create a desire, Lord
To flee from sin (Psalms 51:10)
A disgust for the darkness
And things opposed to Him

Holiness unto the Lord! (Zechariah 14:20)
Let that be the shout!
From people everywhere
With no one left out!

Let the Amen sound (Neh 8:6)
From people again
Revive - O Lord (Habakuk 3:2)
Forgive all sins

Shake it up, Lord
Turn it all upside down
Let the things that don't matter
Just fall to the ground (Hebrews 12:27)

Make the answer so clear
And plain to see
You just want us to love (Mark12:30-31)
And put all our trust in thee!

Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children. Deut 4:10

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4:3

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalms 51:10

In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Zechariah 14:20

And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground. (Neh 8:6)

O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. Habakuk 3:2

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Hebrews 12:27

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Mark12:30-31

Another man that stood alone
God spoke His Word through him
They told him to go somewhere else
He didn't listen to them

He wasn't born a prophets son
Or from a kingly line
Was just a working Shepherd
Who picked fruit some of the time

Your wife will be a harlot
Your sons and daughters will fall by the sword
Israel will be taken captive
The judgment of the Lord

Has our world stopped listening
Has the world plugged it's ears?
We need the fountain of everlasting waters
And a Godly fear

Amos 8

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

Pilgrim or pagan?
All of this world and the politics there with....
They belong to the unbelievers, to those lost in cultural myth.....
Those who believe they can make strait, what God has made crooked....
They have there reward in this life, while there resting place is still cooking.....
We have been called to come out and be separate from these ways....
To fight for the kingdom to come, to resist the worldly rays....
To set our affections on the kingdom
yet to be.....
Righteousness, Godliness and Holiness, being our every plea...
Storing up our treasures where moth do not corrupt.....
Where the thieves cannot break in, where the fire will not erupt......
These words are very plain, that Jesus spoke with powerful might...
" If this were my Kingdom, my servants would surely fight".......
We look for new heaven's and a new earth, where only righteousness dwell's....
Our desire is to drink of that Eternal water, from salvation's infinite well's.......
We honor those who are in rule, with supplications and prayer.....
That we might live peaceably with reverance and Godly fear......
The very lack of faith, that makes one fight for a sinking ship....
Will be the equation for eternity, as souls begin to slip......
Into the sea, of great sorrow and pain......
Where hell is multiplied, again, again and again........
We are admonished not to be entangled with the cares of this life... For her ways are very seducing, landing her blows with great precise....
If you dance to her music, the piper you must pay.....
Receiving the mark in your fore head, a servant to the ungodly way....
If you don't stand for the Lord, you'll fall for anything.......
The reward of sin and iniquity, packs a powerful eternal sting......
I therefore knowing the terror of the Lord, I pray thee hear my plea.....
Seek the Lord with all your heart, that He may grant you to see....
This life is nothing more, than a bubble on the water.....
Here for a moment, and gone tomorrow ........

Treason! Treason!
Evil Queen Athaliah cried
She thought she'd killed all her grandsons
But one had not died

Her son, the king, was dead
And with all his sons out of the way
She could be Judah's first queen
And in the palace she could stay

But Jehoida the priest and
Jehoshabeath, his wife
Saw what Athaliah was doing
They saved little Joash's life

They hid him and raised him
In the temple until
They crowned him king
And executed God's will

When Eve Was deceived
By the serpent so cruel
She would forever be
under her husband's rule (Gen 3:16)

Then Paul confirmed it
In his 2nd letter to Timothy
Over the man, she should
Not "usurp authority" (2 Tim 2:12)

Women rule over them
And cause the people to go astray
Was what Isaiah said
About the troubles of his days (Isaiah 3:12)

What was Athaliah's downfall
After all was lost?
She wanted ALL the power
Whatever the cost!

Get you into your tents again
God told the Israelites
They had heard the voice of the Lord
And were afraid they would die

The great fire will consume us
They told Moses with fear
So instead, He spoke with Moses
Who to God was standing near
(Deuteronomy 5)

O, that the fire would consume us!
And fill every moment, every year!
With a Kingdom that cannot be moved!
Serving God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear! (Hebrews 12:29)

For our God is a consuming fire.
Hebrews 12:30

Who is on the Lord's side?
Moses asked the Israelites
He had been on the mount
And returned to a strange sight

The Israelites, in a short time
Had maded a cow an then
Were dancing all around it
Are there any faithful men?

The sons of Levi stood up
When the question was asked
They picked up their swords
And began to perform the task

What was the cause of all of this?
Where did trouble begin?
The people wouldn't wait on God
A lack of patience caused their sin

Psalms 27:14
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psalms 123:2
Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Let my people go!
They've been enslaved long enough!
They need time to serve the Lord!
Their lives have been so rough

Let my people go!
The cry went before the king
Moses and Aaron delivered it,
But Pharoah couldn't see

God hardened his heart
He made the work even harder
They grumbled against the men
Who they thought had caused the problem

Over and over again
Moses delivered Gods word
Deliverance required patience
And a supreme belief in God

Why didn't God make Pharoah
Let them go at the first request?
Why did they have to endure
All the difficult tests?

It's easy to serve the Lord
When your life is perfectly calm
But put some challenges in the mix
And see who you fall back on!

Look not behind thee
Escape for your life
The angels grabbed a hold of them
Lot, his daughters and his wife

They couldn't climb the mountains
That were up ahead
They begged for refuge in a city
The angels allowed them

But when the fire and brimstone fell
And the cities were brought to naught
Lot's wife had to turn around
Then she turned into a pillar of salt. (Genesis 19)

We must reach forward to apprehend
When we find ourselves in the dark
Not looking or turning back
Pressing towards the high mark
( Phillipians 3:13)

If the mountains seem to tall
Or the race seems hard to run
We must equip ourselves with patience
And keep our focus on the Son

The call went out through all the land
The tabernacle would be built
The Lord commanded this great work
Moses delivered Gods will

Come all whose heart is stirred up
And those with a willing spirit
Bring the Lord your offering
Don't wait another minute!

The offerings came From young and old
They really brought alot
Linens, silver, brass, and gold
Moses had to tell them to stop

Peter came "to stir you up
by putting you in remembrance; "
Before this tabernacle you put off
You must create for God an entrance

Is your spirit willing?
Do you desire to give your best
Do you offer up all you've got?
He better than all the rest!

A new king on the throne
The people make an appeal
Ease the yoke your father laid on us
And we'll serve you with zeal

Give me three days and
I'll let you know the decision I will make
He sought out counsel,
From young and old
Which one would he take?

The older men suggested kindness
So he could continue to rule
The young friends desired harshness
Which was advice from fools

He took his young friends counsel
Lost most of the kingdom too
The people left because of his words
They would fall under Jeroboam's rule

What lesson can we learn
From this young king's mistake?
Counsel is so good to get
Before a move you make

But even more importantly
Is who you chose to ask
Don't seek out the ungodly
For advise on any task ( Psalms 1)

Find someone older, wiser
Someone whose lived long
The mistakes that they have lived
May help you from going wrong

A wise woman builds her house
A fool plucks it down
What are the qualities of the wise?
Where is wisdom found?

The wise will put others first
And let herself go without
She will be able to be quiet
When trouble comes about

She labors both day and night
To raise her children well
Cares more about eternity
Than where on earth she dwells

She loves her husband so so much and to him she gives her all
Prepares a home just for him
His every beck and call

She is not forced to do these things
They all bring her much joy
Each day is such a blessing
Filled with great rewards

Eph 6
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord
A house for holy habitation
Dedicated just for Him
A place for his glory to show
A place to worship Him

Hezekiah had to purify it
Took him at least 8 days
He set the house in order
Then Israel began to pray

The sweet incense was burning
On the table the bread was set
Offerings morning and night
Solemn feast were also kept

If your temple has been defiled
By the world all around
While it is day, there is time
While a sacrifice can be found

Build your temple on the rock
With that precious cornerstone
A building fitly framed together
A habitation for God alone! (Eph 2:20-22)

The prophets told the king
what he wanted to hear
"Go up and prosper"
Was the reply to his ear

There was one that stood alone
That wouldn't go along
Micaiah spoke God's will
No matter what was going on

Two kings put on their kingly robes
And upon their thrones that day
The messenger went to get Micaiah
And told him what to say.

Would he listen
And go along with the lies the others told?
No- not Micaiah, He had God's spirit
Was not afraid to speak alone

It's easy to be in a group
And go on living a lie
But Gods wants us to do His will
And in His truths abide

The road is a narrow one
Most people won't get through
You must seek His face continually
His love will comfort you

II Chronicles 18

Saturday, August 4, 2012

18Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 20And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

Is there not a cause? (1 Sam 17:29)
David asked his fellow man
The Israelites were again oppressed
The Phillistines were in the land

Not one man would stand up
Until David came along
They looked at it through man's eyes
And were afraid of the great throng

David had another eye
One with a Godly view
He had grown to be dependent on God
(1 Sam 17:37 The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine)
He always brought him through

He's big, yea he is a giant
This indeed is true
But God is much more powerful
Than anything man can ever do
(Romans 8:31 If God be for us, who can be against us? )

When you look at things in this life
And it seems the cards are stacked against you
You've got to be like David
And LET God work in you
( Is 43:13 I will work, and who shall let it? )

Cast away your garments
Run to the savior's side
You cried out for mercy
And He has heard your cries

He asks you what you
Would have him do unto thee
Open up my eyes Lord!
If I could only see...

He opens up your eyes
This world is now so clear
Do you go sightseeing?
No, to the Lord must you stay near

In the world, not of it
We should have no interest in earthly things
Should keep our minds focused
On our Lord and only King

Although we were not blind
We surely couldn't see
Thank God our eyes are opened!
We must serve Him eternally!

Mark 10:49
