On the first day
God divided light from dark
It was very good (Gen 1:4)
His plan from the start
He called the light day
And the dark he called night
They couldn't be together
That wouldn't be right
If you seek a country,
A heavenly one (Heb 11:10)
Built and made by God (Heb 11:14)
Founded on the Son
You will find yourself separate
By others' choice
They don't want to listen
Or hear God's voice
Moses esteemed not
The riches of Egypt (Heb 11:27)
He chose to suffer the reproach
Instead of enjoying sin for a season
In Hebrews 11
Men of faith are found
They were strangers and pilgrims
Not like others around (Heb 11:13)
So what should you do?
Children of the day?
Put on love, faith, hope
And always WATCH and PRAY
(1 Thess 5:8)

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 2 Cor 1:12
Are you trusting in the world? (Romans 8:5)
For your every need? (Ephesians 2:2-3)
Do you try to further your stay here
Through all your vain deeds? (I Peter 1:18)
Do you draw near to God with your lips. (Matthew 15:8)
While your heart is far away?
How do you spend your time?
Do you always "watch and pray?"(Mark 13:33)
Like a thief in the night, Our Lord will return! (II Peter 3:10)
The earth is reserved unto fire
All its works will burn! (II Peter 3:7)
Believe ye His promises! (2 Peter 1:4) (Hebrews 10:36)
His promises are yea, and Amen, (2 Cor 1:20)
Looking for new heavens
and a new earth,
Dwelling only righteousness within (2 Peter 3:13)
Not trusting ourselves,
Or in things others said,
But in Our Dear Lord,
Who raises the dead! (2 Cor 1:9)
Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the hflesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:2-3 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
I Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
2 Peter 2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities
. Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me
Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
II Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
II Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise
2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us
2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
2 Cor 1:9 we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

There is a great conspiracy
Against what your doing
Your wall has some breaches
And your temple is in ruins
The enemy is watching
And decides to hinder you
You have rubbish all around
So much you can't see through
Set a watch,Say a prayer
Not just once a day
You need protection day and night
To keep the enemy away
Get a firm position
Right inside the wall
Keep your sword on your side
With God you will not fall
The Lord is great and terrible
The Bible shares his plan
You must pick it up and read it
Allow Him to strengthen your hands Nehemiah 4

From His Holy habitation
He looks upon the earth
Unto the sons of men
His creation and their works
Physical strength doesn't matter
Nor does a host of men
But the eye of The Lord
Falls upon those that fear him
Hoping in His mercy,
Our hope and our shield
Delivering our soul from death
Trusting and rejoicing in Him!
Psalms 33: 13-22 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

A carcass fallen in the wilderness
It does not fall all alone
Almost all who came out of Egypt
Never made to their home
They were the ones who questioned God
Bawked at his commands
Terrified by the enemies
The giants of the land
This world today is just the same
An ocean full of unbelief
The people keep turning back
Not seeking God for relief
Help us Lord to be different
To trust your every word
Not to be tossed and turned
By the trials of this world
It does not fall all alone

The fetters are so tight
You almost cannot move
This world's enchantments so deceitful
They stick to you like glue
The Israelites were just the same
The taskmasters guided all their day
They had no time to spend with God
To worship or to pray
Although the chains aren't on our feet
We are hardly better off
With tvs playing the devils message
And in the schools he's taught
Sports have become the gods today
And people love to party
Even go to carnivals
While their souls are starving
For the one who makes a difference
That fills your every need
He's more than any worldly thing
Could ever mean to me!

"Come in thou wife of Jeroboam"
Said the prophet to the king's wife
She was disguised as another
To plea for her sick son's life
The prophet was old and couldn't see
So her costume was all in vain
Although she went through all that trouble
He called her by her name
The news was not good news
God was disappointed with the king
He had led Israel to sin
Not depending on God for anything
God had took all but one tribe
And gave it all to him
If he'd kept God's commandments
His life different would've been
But he was worried about his kingship
That the people might turn away
So he set up two cow idols
For them to worship am to pray
Trust in the Lord with all your heart (Prov 3;5)
Don't let doubt and fear creep in
Wait for his promises
Trusting your hands will end in sin II Kings 14

Affections set on things above
Unconcerned with this world's best (Col 3:2)
Always keeping in mind the cross (2 Cor 4:10)
Studying so you'll pass the test (2 Tim 2:15)
Not focusing on how your treated
Only how you will respond
Quick to hear, slow to speak (James 1:19)
With the whole armor of God on (Eph 6:11)
Looking up and unto Him ( Psalms 121:1)
Who created all living things (John 1:3)
Knowing tomorrow here may not come (Matt 24:44)
Trusting we'll mount up with wings. (Is 40:31)
Running to obtain (I Cor 9:24-25)
While on the Lord we wait (Is 40:31)
While for things in this life,
No thoughts we take (Matthew 6:25)
Living soberly, righteously, and godly,
in this world;
Denying ungodliness and worldly lusts (Titus 2:12)
While God's beautiful plan unfurls
2 Cor 4:10
Always bearing about in the body
the dying of the Lord Jesus
2 Tim 2:15.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Psalms 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Matt 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Is 40:31. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Matthew 6:25. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

He took out of the temple
The silver and the gold
He sent it to the king of Syria
Protection was what was sold
He could have sought the Lord
To protect and keep him safe
He trusted in his riches
What a big mistake!
The eyes of the Lord running to and fro
Throughout the whole earth
Looking for perfect hearts
And those that have true worth
If war is coming to you
And you know not what to do
Take the helmet of salvation
And the armor tried and true
Praying always, without ceasing
Upon your knees do stay
Our Lord is strong and mighty
He will move the enemy away! II chr 16

Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world.
Wisdom crieth in the streets (Prov 1)
To make the Lords will known
And those who will not listen
Get wrapped up in their worldly home
Take no thought for tomorrow (Matt 6:43)
You know not what the day may bring (James 4:14)
Your life is like a vapor
Eternal life is everything!
Like a treasure in a field
Giving up everything for it (Matthew 13:44)
Seek ye first the kingdom (Matt 6:33)
Is the way you must begin
" I know what the Bible says
However, this is what we do"
Will not be a sufficient excuse
When this life is over for you
"Lord, Lord "will be the cry
I never knew you - He will say (Matt 7:21)
Those who do the Father's will
Are the ones who'll find the way
All the "strongholds" of this life
Will not stand the test of time
Like ripe figs on a tree
They will fall when shook just right (Nahum 3:12)
Matthew 6:43 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Matt 6:44 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Nahum 3:12 All thy strong holds shall be like fig trees with the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater. James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin Matt 7:21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Get off your throne
And Throw off all your kingly attire
Cover with sackcloth and ashes
Your town is sinking in the mire!
A messenger sent from God
Has brought you the warning
Take heed, don't wait
A new day will soon be dawning
The Lord hears the cries
The whole town is on it's knees
He chooses to forgive you
Wait, the messenger begins to flee
He is not happy
In fact, he even wants to die
Doest thou well to be angry?
Asked God, he wants to know why?
Jonah steps outside the city
His job is now done
The Lord lets a gourd grow
To protect him from the sun
The next day he wakes up
To find a worm devouring
Jonah is angry the plant is dead
His temper is arising
Doest thou well to be angry?
The Lord asks again
You didn't create the plant
It came from God's hand
Jonah didn't labor with it
Yet on it, he had pity,
Should not I, the Lord,
Do the same for Ninevah, that great city?
When you look around you
And are surrounded by those in sin
Does your heart cry out for them (even your enemies????)
For salvation to come in?
The Lord desires for all to be saved. (I Tim 2:4)
His miracles must be made known
Our God showers us with blessings
His seeds, we must sow!

I am seeking for the old paths
Wherein is the good way (Jeremiah 6:16)
There is a rest offered there
For those who seek today
The rest is found to those
Who abide in His will
They keep his commandments (John 14:15)
They wait (Galatians 5:5) and "be still" (Psalm 4:4)
His power is overwhelming
His mercies, they abound (Eph 2:4)
Peter had to follow Jesus
Where eternal life could be found (John 6:68)
Today, people are seeking
For many things today
They have made their life so busy
They don't have time to pray
This life will be over in A minute
What will you have to show?
Did you win the marathon?
Was your chlorestrol low?
Oh lord, my plea today
Is that people all around
Prepare a habitation (Eph 2:22)
Where Our Lord will want to be found
A place where he consumes our thoughts
Our minds are stayed on him (Hebrews 8:10)
In every word, he is glorified and
Our love we freely give

Ye that love The Lord, (Is 62:6-7)
Thy salvation cometh; (Is 62:11 )
Yea, He is your rereward: (Isaiah 58:8)
Behold! Thy King cometh (Zechariah 9:9)

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Are you zealous for the Lord?
Is he your pure desire
Will you spend eternity with him
When this world burns with fire
Do you wake thinking on
Him and his word
Do you find yourself shouting
And singing with birds
Do you delight in seeing
His words all around
All over the walls
Any place that can be found
Do you desire for others
To know this joy
It is better than anything
So much to enjoy
Oh, won't you please seek him
You must find him today!
Repent and be baptized
Don't wait another day!!
Some of my favorite zealots from the Bible:
Jehu
Caleb
Joshua
Gideon
Deborah
Jael
David
Joab / knocking the blind off the wall
