We love to have scriptures everywhere and have found some different ideas to help us achieve these desires. We found some scripture posters in a book store out of state when we went to visit Charity Christian Fellowship. We only paid about $4 for them and framed them when we got home. Here is an example of the one in my bedroom:
Some friends of ours introduced us to a scripture calendar that uses KJV verses and they have been some of my favorites! I usually don't frame them, I just tape them up when the month is over. I probably have 20+ of these taped up throughout our home:
I found these stickers at another bookstore. They are called "Border Bytes" by Just Jill (The Faith Collection) You can probably google them. Here is a large one I bought, then 5 small ones that I haven't cut out and put up yet.
Here is another poster that I found that I taped to my refrigerator! I love this verse!!
And now for the most creative choice for those who don't suffer from any type of arthritis...
I found this idea on the internet. Print out a scripture on your printer in the font that you like. Use a pencil to color the back (making a carbon) Then put it on the wall and trace the scripture (with the pencil coloring on the wall) It will leave a pencil type stencil that you can go back with a paint pen to color. I probably won't do this one again, because it really hurt my hands (:
The last idea I have to share is one of my favorites. I found some huge, yet cheap framed pictures at Goodwill. They were 2.99 each. I took the picutre out and typed a scripture on Vista Print's website. I made it into a poster and it cost 9.95 each for a total of about $13 for a giant wall scripture.
To get a better idea of how big this is, check out the pic of my 2 yr old in the modest dress idea page. She is standing in front of them.
