Thank God for the Brethren!

One mind and one mouth
Glorifying The Lord
Although we being many
Are all one in the Word

Standing fast in one spirit
With one spirit we strive
For the faith of the gospel
And the hope of eternal life

That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Come, and let us return unto the LORD (Hosea 6:1)
Let us began today
Denying all these worldly lusts (Titus 2:12)
And ungodliness, put thee away

Striving to live soberly
In this present world
Looking for that blessed hope (Titus 2:13)
Jesus Christ, our Lord!

Possessing this vessel in sanctification (I Thess 4:4)
Uncleanness not within (I Thess 4:7)
Striving to keep Him your focus
Until unto holiness comes in

As a snare it shall come
To inhabitants of this planet
Surfeiting and drunkenness
Who can withstand  it?

We have feasts and a plenty
That cause temporary zeal
But blessed is the land
Who "just for strength" eat their meals

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Elias was a man
With like passions just as we,
He prayed earnestly to shut the heavens
And so God let it be (James 5:17)

He is the same God today
As He was way back then (Hebrews 13:8)
The only thing different
Is the faith found in today's men

If we truly have faith
And pray so earnestly
God will grant the desires of our heart (Psalms 37:4)
Oh, this we must learn to see

The prayers of the righteous
Doeth much avail (James 5:16)
Our prayers can move mountains (Matthew 17:20)
Our God never fails (Deuteronomy 31:8)

James 5:17
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Deuteronomy 31:8
And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Open a door of utterance Lord (Col 4:3)
The mysterys of Christ
The truths of the scripture
The words that bring eternal life

Continuing instant in prayer
And watching in the same (Col 4:2)
Clothed with bowels of mercies
Forgiving in Christ's name (Col 3:12-13)

Wrapped in the bond of perfectness,
Which is charity (Col 3:14 )
With humbleness of mind
Kindness, meekness and long suffering. (Col 3:12-13)

Redeeming the time
As each word comes out
Speaking with grace
To those who are without (Col 4:5-6)

Col 3:12-13
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Col 3:14
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Col 4:3
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Col 4:2
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Col 4:5-6
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Their strength is to sit still (Isaiah 30:7)

"turn aside out of the path,"

We must help ourselves fast!

Keep us in your perfect peace
Keep our minds stayed on thee (Isaiah 26:3)

Be zealous and repent ( Rev 3:19)
Anoint your eyes with eye salve
Buy ye gold tried with fire
The white raiment you must have (Rev 3:18)

He rebukes and chastens ( Rev 3:19)
As many as He loves
Not being found as bastards, (Heb 12:8)
But found as well loved sons

And you can't minister to yourself because of the cloud (I Kings 8:11)
Remember that The Lord is in the midst
In thick darkness, He is found (Ex 20:21)

Waiting for you to open up
Listen to His voice and
With Him you will sup (Rev 3:20)

An incorruptible crown (I Corinthians 9:25)

No bread and no water
And we loath this light bread
We should've stayed in Egypt
The stiffnecked Israelites said

They were so unthankful
Though God had parted the Red Sea
He sent the fiery serpents
To bring them to their knees

Many of them died
Before Moses interceded
He made a brass serpent on a pole
And raised it for all to see it

All who got bit
Would look upon the pole
They would not die
God had mercy on their souls

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive;
O Lord, hearken and do;  (Dan 9:19)
We cry, not for our own righteousness (Deut 9:6) (Dan 9:18)
But because your great mercies are true

Please go before us (Deut 9:5)
In our thoughts and every step
Until we possess that promise land
Let your Words in us be kept (Deut 11:18)

Daniel 9:18-19
O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Deut 9:5
Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

Learn not the way of the heathen (Jer 10:2)
The people imagine a vain thing (Psalms 2:1)
They deck a tree with gold and silver
And to it glad tidings sing (lyrics below)

The stock is a doctrine of vanities (Jer 10:8)
Man's traditions filled with mirth
Celebrating and amusing themselves
Under the pretense of Jesus' birth

If you regard a day
To The Lord regard it right (Romans 14:6)
He doesn't need your presents, but
You need His presence in your life

O Christmas  Tree lyrics
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

Follow after righteousness (Isaiah 51:1)
Follow after Me (Jesus)
I am meek and lowly (Matt 11:29)
A narrow path you'll see (Matt 7:14)

And I will give you rest (Matt 11:28)
