Sleeping for sorrow, (Luke 22:45)
While their master prays,
The Passover has come, (Luke 22:7-8)
The Truth, the Life, the Way ( John 14:6)
He warned them to be ready, (Luke 22:46)
The time was near at hand,
Strengthen the things that remain, (Rev. 3:2)
It's time for you to stand (Eph 6:13)
The Spirit was truly ready,
Yet the flesh remaineth weak, (Matt. 26: 41)
Sweating as great drops of blood,
It is Jesus whom they seek (John 18:8)
