Affections set on things above
Unconcerned with this world's best (Col 3:2)
Always keeping in mind the cross (2 Cor 4:10)
Studying so you'll pass the test (2 Tim 2:15)

Not focusing on how your treated
 Only how you will respond
Quick to hear, slow to speak (James 1:19)
With the whole armor of God on (Eph 6:11)

Looking up and unto Him ( Psalms 121:1)
Who created all living things (John 1:3)
Knowing tomorrow here may not come (Matt 24:44)
Trusting we'll mount up with wings. (Is 40:31)

Running to obtain (I Cor 9:24-25)
While on the Lord we wait (Is 40:31)
While for things in this life,
No thoughts we take (Matthew 6:25)

 Living soberly, righteously, and godly,
in this world;
Denying ungodliness and worldly lusts (Titus 2:12)
While God's beautiful plan unfurls

 2 Cor 4:10
Always bearing about in the body
the dying of the Lord Jesus

 2 Tim 2:15.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Psalms 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Matt 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Is 40:31. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Matthew 6:25. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

He took out of the temple
The silver and the gold
He sent it to the king of Syria
 Protection was what was sold

He could have sought the Lord
To protect and keep him safe
He trusted in his riches
What a big mistake!

The eyes of the Lord running to and fro
Throughout the whole earth
 Looking for perfect hearts
And those that have true worth

If war is coming to you
And you know not what to do
Take the helmet of salvation
And the armor tried and true

 Praying always, without ceasing
Upon your knees do stay
Our Lord is strong and mighty
He will move the enemy away! II chr 16

Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world.

Wisdom crieth in the streets (Prov 1)
To make the Lords will known
And those who will not listen
Get wrapped up in their worldly home

Take no thought for tomorrow (Matt 6:43)
You know not what the day may bring (James 4:14)
Your life is like a vapor
 Eternal life is everything!

Like a treasure in a field
Giving up everything for it (Matthew 13:44)
Seek ye first the kingdom (Matt 6:33)
Is the way you must begin

" I know what the Bible says
However, this is what we do"
Will not be a sufficient excuse
When this life is over for you

"Lord, Lord "will be the cry
I never knew you - He will say (Matt 7:21)
Those who do the Father's will
Are the ones who'll find the way

All the "strongholds" of this life
Will not stand the test of time
Like ripe figs on a tree
They will fall when shook just right (Nahum 3:12)

Matthew 6:43 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Matthew 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Matt 6:44 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Nahum 3:12 All thy strong holds shall be like fig trees with the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of the eater. James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin Matt 7:21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. I John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. I John 4:23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Get off your throne
And Throw off all your kingly attire
Cover with sackcloth and ashes
Your town is sinking in the mire!

A messenger sent from God
Has brought you the warning
Take heed, don't wait
A new day will soon be dawning

The Lord hears the cries
The whole town is on it's knees
He chooses to forgive you
Wait, the messenger begins to flee

He is not happy
In fact, he even wants to die
Doest thou well to be angry?
Asked God, he wants to know why?

Jonah steps outside the city
His job is now done
The Lord lets a gourd grow
To protect him from the sun

The next day he wakes up
To find a worm devouring
Jonah is angry the plant is dead
His temper is arising

Doest thou well to be angry?
The Lord asks again
You didn't create the plant
It came from God's hand

Jonah didn't labor with it
Yet on it, he had pity,
Should not I, the Lord,
Do the same for Ninevah, that great city?

When you look around you
And are surrounded by those in sin
Does your heart cry out for them (even your enemies????)
For salvation to come in?

The Lord desires for all to be saved. (I Tim 2:4)
His miracles must be made known
Our God showers us with blessings
His seeds, we must sow!

I am seeking for the old paths
Wherein  is the good way (Jeremiah 6:16)
There is a rest offered there
For those who seek today

The rest is found to those
Who abide in His will
They keep his commandments (John 14:15)
They wait (Galatians 5:5) and "be still" (Psalm 4:4)

His power is overwhelming
His mercies, they abound (Eph 2:4)
Peter had to follow Jesus
Where eternal life could be found (John 6:68)

Today, people are seeking
For many things today
They have made their life so busy
They don't have time to pray

This life will be over in A minute
What will you have to show?
Did you win the marathon?
Was your chlorestrol low?

Oh lord, my plea today
Is that people all around
Prepare a habitation (Eph 2:22)
Where Our Lord will want to be found

A place where he consumes our thoughts
Our minds are stayed on him (Hebrews 8:10)
In every word, he is glorified and
Our love we freely give

Ye that love The Lord, (Is 62:6-7)
Thy salvation cometh; (Is 62:11  )
Yea, He  is your rereward: (Isaiah 58:8)

Behold! Thy King cometh (Zechariah 9:9)
Hosanna in the highest! (Matt 21:9)
Meek, Just and Lowly (Zechariah 9:9)
Riding upon the foal of an ass

All Hail the Holy One! (Matthew 28:9)
Sing praises unto His Name! (Psalms 68:4)
The Author of eternal salvation
Unto all them that obey! (Hebrews 5:9)

Is 62:6-7
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence.
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Is 62:11  Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Isaiah 58:8
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

Zechariah 9:9
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Matthew 28:9
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Psalms 68:4
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

Matt 21:5
Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

Matt 21:9
And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Is 62:12
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken

Is 62:10
Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Are you zealous for the Lord?
Is he your pure desire
Will you spend eternity with him
When this world burns with fire

Do you wake thinking on
Him and his word
Do you find yourself shouting
And singing with birds

Do you delight in seeing
His words all around
All over the walls
Any place that can be found

Do you desire for others
To know this joy
It is better than anything
So much to enjoy

Oh, won't you please seek him
You must find him today!
Repent and be baptized
Don't wait another day!!
