Eyes fixed upon Jerusalem,

Set straight upon the cross,

All around is chaos-

But His focus is not lost

He drank from His Father's cup, (Matt 6:42)

Yea, "let" His will be done, (Is 43:13)

The Father has given all into His hand,

For He loveth the Son (John 3:35)

A peace that passeth understanding, (Phil. 4:7)

A peace that has no end, (Is 9:7)

For the joy that was set before him, (Hebrews 12:2)

He endured until the end (Matt 24:13)

Can we keep our eye focused, (Matt 6:22)

Counting all things but loss, (Phil 3:8 )

Laying up treasures in heaven, (Matt 6:21)

Where moths cannot corrupt (Matt 6:19)

A face set steadfast upon Jerusalem, (Luke 9:51)

The city of the great King, (Psalm 48:2)

With mercy and truth before thee, (Psalm 89:14)

Safely nestled under His wing (Matt 23:3)

Matt 26:42 He went away againthe second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup maynot pass away from me, except I drinkit, thy will be done. 

Is 43:13 Yea, before the day wasI am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? 

John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, andhath given all things into his hand. 

Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who forthe joy that was set before him enduredthe cross, despisingthe shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throneof God. 

Phil. 4:7 And the peaceof God, whichpasseth all understanding, shall keepyour hearts and minds † through ChristJesus. 

Is 9:7

Of the increaseof his governmentand peace there shall beno end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgmentand with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. 

Matt 24:13 

But he that shall endure untothe end, the sameshall be saved

Psalm 48:2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. 

Psalm 89:14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. 

Matt 23:37  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how oftenwould I have gathered thy † childrentogether, even as a hen gathereth herchickens under her wings, and ye wouldnot! 

Romans 14:6

He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it.He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 

Return for thy servants sake, (I 63:17)

Look down from heaven and behold,

Let thy mercy fall on us, (I 63:15)

Carry us as in the days old (I 63:9)

Traveling in greatness of strength (I 63:1)

You brought your people up out of the sea (I 63:11)

Let not thy zeal be restrained, ( I 63:15)

Nor let thy Holy Spirit leave. (Ps 51:11)

Let us drink in the courts of thy holiness, (I 62:9)

Cast up! Cast up the highway, (I 62:10)

Thou art glorious in thine apparel, (I 63:1)

Keep our eyes focused on your ways 

Is 63:17

O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants sake, the tribes of thine inheritance. 

Psalms 51:11

Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 

Isaiah 63:15

Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?  

Isaiah 63:1

Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatnessof his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 

Isaiah 62:9

But they that have gathered it shall eat it and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courtsof my holiness. 

Isaiah 62:10

Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. 

The land is yet before you,

Go in and possess, 

Yet, you believed him not, (Deut 9:23)

And were left without your rest

The fear of those inhabitants,

Instead of trust in the Mighty Hand,

Has left you feeling helpless,

Without strength and with a fear of man

Those Israelites were tested,

Again and again and again,

God showed himself faithful ,

A rock...on which to stand

Now here we are today,

Another day another land,

The enemies are still big,

Trying to provoke you in your stand

You better get that flu shot,

Save  up money to retire,

If you don't get out and vote,

This land will end up a stinking mire

Where does God fit into this picture?

Is He on a journey or maybe asleep?(I Kings 18:27)

Doth not the Great Creator

Control and watch over his beloved sheep? (John 10:15)

By a strong hand and a mighty arm,

He hath brought us out,

Not because of our righteousness,

But because His love, without a doubt 

We need to see the end of the matter,

That His will always will play out,

We wrestle not with flesh and blood,

Those have not any clout.

Having done all, we need to stand

Without wrath or doubting, pray

With the full armor of His holiness

Seeking to stand at the end of the day.  (Eph. 6:11-17)
