The Syrian host came by night,
Dothan surrounded round about,
Warriors, horses and chariots,
Elisha's servant has some doubts,

Alas, my master! How shall we do?
Was his fearful reply
Elisha prays to God
and God opens the young mans eyes

A mountains full of protection,
For Elisha was then seen, (II Kings 6:14-18)
Thank God for His protection
When his people are in need

"Increase our faith"
The apostles told our Lord, (Luke 17:5)
"If ye had faith..." (Luke 17:6)
Began Jesus' words

Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
The evidence of things unseen, (Hebrews 11:1)
The waters wouldn't have parted for Moses, ( Exodus 14:21)
Had he not truly believed, (Hebrews 11:27)

Things seen are not made,
Of the things which do appear, (Hebrews 11:3)
Hope that is seen, is not hope (Romans 8:24)
Serve Him with reverence and godly fear (Hebrews 12:28)

II Kings  6:14-18
Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Luke 17:5
And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Luke 17:6
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Hebrews 11:1-3
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Romans 8:24
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

Hebrews 12:28
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Exodus 14:21
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

Hebrews 11:27
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible

They go backwards instead of forwards, ( Jer 7:24)
Listening to their evil hearts,
The people will not walk in the ways I established
Their ways have become dark,

I will be their God, ( Jer 7:24)
My people they will be,
If they hearken to my voice,
House of Israel, why can't you see?

They didn't want to know Me,
I gave them over to their reprobate minds, (Romans 1:28-32)
They've become filled with unrighteousness,
House of Isreal, why will you die?(Ezekiel 18:31)

Knowing the judgement of God,
You become worthy of death,
And those who take pleasure in watching you, ( Romans 1:32)
Will perish with the rest!

Jeremiah 7 :23-24
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Romans 1:28-32
 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Ezekiel 18:31
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

By my husband

The one thing I'm most certain of, it happens every day........
The grave is lurking in the shadow's, the clock is ticking our time away........
I hear the sound of music, folly and laughter fill the air.......
Attempting to escape reality, but the grave it does not care.........
The appetite is never satisfied, not a picky eater at all........
Swallowing the rich and poor, fat and skinny, short and tall.........
He plays the role of an under cover agent, in the mind of a simple one............
Often completely unnoticed, until the day his work is done........
The spectators stand in awe, as if something strange has been done........
Although many strange events occur, this my friend is not one.......
The only certainty in this life, we all  must go this way........
It is not a matter of if, only a matter of which day........
I thank The Lord Jesus Christ, for the power to drink from the eternal cup........ Matthew 26:27
It doesn't matter when you die, it only matters how you rise up.......
We all shall stand before the throne of God, judgement for the things we have done......
II Corinthians 5:10
But blessed are the dead who die in The Lord for they rest and there work's do follow them home.......
Revelation 14:13

The prophets told the king
what he wanted to hear
"Go up and prosper"
Was the reply to his ear

There was one that stood alone
That wouldn't go along
Micaiah spoke God's will
No matter what was going on

Two kings put on their kingly robes
And upon their thrones that day
The messenger went to get Micaiah
And told him what to say.

Would he listen
And go along with the lies the others told?
No- not Micaiah, He had God's spirit
Was not afraid to speak alone

It's easy to be in a group
And go on living a lie
But Gods wants us to do His will
And in His truths abide

The road is a narrow one
Most people won't get through
You must seek His face continually
His love will comfort you

What meanest thou, O sleeper?
What have you done?
The boat tossed with a tempest
Because of just one

The sailors all knew
Trouble doesn't befall you for nought
The searched and found Jonah
And the reason they sought

When Paul was bit by a viper
In another time and land
Even the barbarians murmured
And thought judgement was at hand

"You must not be living right"
People used to always say
But now, most have forgotten
Judgement has faded away

If things are going bad
And you think it's just your lot
Consider your life and
Examine your heart.

As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come

Psalms 26:2
Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
