Romans 14:6

He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it.He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks

Return for thy servants sake, (I 63:17)
Look down from heaven and behold,
Let thy mercy fall on us, (I 63:15)
Carry us as in the days old (I 63:9)

Traveling in greatness of strength (I 63:1)
You brought your people up out of the sea (I 63:11)
Let not thy zeal be restrained, ( I 63:15)
Nor let thy Holy Spirit leave. (Ps 51:11)

Let us drink in the courts of thy holiness, (I 62:9)
Cast up! Cast up the highway, (I 62:10)
Thou art glorious in thine apparel, (I 63:1)
Keep our eyes focused on your ways

Is 63:17
LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy waysand hardened our heart from thy fearReturn for thy servants sake, the tribes of thine inheritance

Psalms 51:11
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Isaiah 63:15
Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?

Isaiah 63:1
Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his appareltravelling in the greatnessof his strength? I that speak in righteousnessmighty to save

Isaiah 62:9
But they that have gathered it shall eat it and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courtsof my holiness

Isaiah 62:10
Go through, go through the gatesprepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people

The land is yet before you,
Go in and possess,
Yet, you believed him not, (Deut 9:23)
And were left without your rest

The fear of those inhabitants,
Instead of trust in the Mighty Hand,
Has left you feeling helpless,
Without strength and with a fear of man

Those Israelites were tested,
Again and again and again,
God showed himself faithful ,
A rock...on which to stand

Now here we are today,
Another day another land,
The enemies are still big,
Trying to provoke you in your stand

You better get that flu shot,
Save  up money to retire,
If you don't get out and vote,
This land will end up a stinking mire

Where does God fit into this picture?
Is He on a journey or maybe asleep?(I Kings 18:27)
Doth not the Great Creator
Control and watch over his beloved sheep? (John 10:15)

By a strong hand and a mighty arm,
He hath brought us out,
Not because of our righteousness,
But because His love, without a doubt

We need to see the end of the matter,
That His will always will play out,
We wrestle not with flesh and blood,
Those have not any clout.

Having done all, we need to stand
Without wrath or doubting, pray
With the full armor of His holiness
Seeking to stand at the end of the day.  (Eph. 6:11-17)

A Holy people unto The Lord, (I Chr 16:29)
Peculiar, you could say, (Deut 14:2)
His laws within their heart, (Deut. 11:18)
They walk in all His ways, (Deut 5:33)

Resisting the devil, (James 4:7)
While drawing nigh unto Him, (James 4:8)
Desiring to be His express image,
No longer a servant to sin (Romans 6:17)

"Be ye perfect," (Matt 5:48)
Jesus said on the mount,
As your Father in heaven is perfect,
Leaving no room for any doubt,

David's  heart was perfect, (I Kings 11:4)
Desiring all God's holy ways,
Striving to live in mercy
And love in all his days

"Nobody's perfect"
The world will always say,
If that is your hope, ( Hebrews 11:1)
Perfection you'll not obtain

Striving for imperfection??
An achievement you can surely make,
God wants our goals set higher,
Our whole life perfection takes.

I Chr 16:29
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name : bring an offering , and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness .

Deut 14:2
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God , and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth

Deut. 11:18
Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul , and bind them for a sign upon your hand , that they may be as frontlets between your eyes .

Deut 5:33
Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live , and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess .

James 4:7-8

Submit yourselves therefore to God . Resist the devil , and he will flee from you .
Draw nigh to God , and he will draw nigh to you . Cleanse your hands , ye sinners ; and purify your hearts , ye double minded .

Romans 6:17
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of things not seen .

Matt 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect , even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect

I Kings 11:4
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old , that his wives turned away his heart after other gods : and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God , as was the heart of David his father .

Psalm 138:8
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Deut 15:5
Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.

Ephesians 4:12-13
For the perfecting of the saints , for the work of the ministry , for the edifying of the body of Christ :
Till we all come in the unity of the faith , and of the knowledge of the Son of God , unto a perfect man , unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ :

By the river of Ahava,
He proclaimed a fast,
To afflict themselves before God,
That He might lead them on a safe  path

They carried many treasures,
The road was a dangerous one,
Ezra didn't ask for soldiers or horsemen
Because of the mighty hand of God

Some trust in horses and chariots, (Psalm 20:7)
Some trust in things they have,
Earthly things cannot deliver,
Nor provide safety like God's hand

Trust in The Lord with all your heart, (Prov 3:5)
Lean not on yourself for His will,
If God is for you, who can be against you! (Romans 8:21)
Ye have need to wait and be still! (Hebrews 10:36)

Ezra 8:21-22
Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots , and some in horses : but we will remember the name of the LORD our God .

Prov 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart ; and lean not unto thine own understanding

Romans 8:21
What shall we then say to these things ? If God be for us , who can be against us ?

Hebrews 10:36
For ye have need of patience , that , after ye have done the will of God , ye might receive the promise .
