A strong people set in battle array
Sound an alarm ( Joel 2:5)
Hath anything been like this before?
The army of The Lord!

A fire goes before them and
Behind them a flame (Joel 2:3)
The earth quakes and trembles
Yea, no one will escape

Rend you heart and
Not your garments, (Joel 2:13)
Lo, weep and pray (Joel 2:17)
The Lord is gracious and merciful
Who can abide in His day? (Joel 2:18)

Joel 2:5
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Joel 2:3
A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Joel 2:13
And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Joel 2:17
Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Joel 2:11
And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it

When you get to the place
The Lord promised you in this land
You will rejoice in whatever you put your hands to
Whatsoever is right in the eyes of every man (Deut.12)

You will dwell there in safety
No concerns of the enemy
You heart fixed upon the Lord (Psalm 112:7-8)
What can man do unto thee?

You may eat whatever you lust for
Whether it be clean or unclean
It's not what goes into the body,
What comes out of your heart is what God sees (Mark 7:15)

Bring your tithes and all your offerings
We now only have one thing to give
He wants the "calves of your lips" (Hosea 14:2)
Your praise and thanksgiving for the eternal life you will live

Get you into your tents again
God told the Israelites
They had heard the voice of the Lord
And were afraid they would die

The great fire will consume us
They told Moses with fear
So instead, He spoke with Moses
Who to God was standing near
(Deuteronomy 5)

O, that the fire would consume us!
And fill every moment, every year!
With a Kingdom that cannot be moved!
Serving God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear! (Hebrews 12:29)

For our God is a consuming fire.
Hebrews 12:30

Scattered, as with the wind,
before the enemy ,
They'll see the the back, and not the face,
in the days of calamity.

Their sins are graven with a pen of iron
upon the table of their hearts,
They put their trust in other men
And from them, truth departs

The people have forgotten Him,
And turned to vanity,
they've stumbled off the ancient paths,
Now they'll fall before their enemies

Jeremiah 18

Walk not as the Gentiles,
In the vanity of their mind
Alienated from the life of God, (Eph 4:17-18)
Giving Him no time

Ye are a chosen generation,
A royal priesthood (I Peter 2:9)
Laying your treasures in heaven, (Matthew 6:20)
And cleaving to that which is good (Romans 12:9)

Bearing about in your mind,
As you move about your day,
The dying of The Lord Jesus, (II Cor 4:10)
Knowing He is the only Way

Eph 4:17-18
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

I Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Matthew 6:20
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Romans 12:9
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

II Corinthians 4:10
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

The old man is crucified
To no longer serve sin (Romans 6:6)
Buried with Him in baptism (Romans 6:4)
Living no longer therein

Being made free
The servants of righteousness (Romans 6:16)
Yielding all your members
With fruits of holiness (Romans 6:13)

Not under the law,
But under grace, (Romans 6:14)
Serving in newness of spirit (Romans 7:6)
Giving the adversary no place (Eph 4:27)

Romans 6:6
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 6:16
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 6:13
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:22
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Romans 7:6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Ephesians 4:27
Neither give place to the devil.

I am seeking for the old paths
Wherein  is the good way (Jeremiah 6:16)
There is a rest offered there
For those who seek today

The rest is found to those
Who abide in His will
They keep his commandments (John 14:15)
They wait (Galatians 5:5) and "be still" (Psalm 4:4)

His power is overwhelming
His mercies, they abound (Eph 2:4)
Peter had to follow Jesus
Where eternal life could be found (John 6:68)

Today, people are seeking
For many things today
They have made their life so busy
They don't have time to pray

This life will be over in A minute
What will you have to show?
Did you win the marathon?
Was your chlorestrol low?

Oh lord, my plea today
Is that people all around
Prepare a habitation (Eph 2:22)
Where Our Lord will want to be found

A place where he consumes our thoughts
Our minds are stayed on him (Hebrews 8:10)
In every word, he is glorified and
Our love we freely give
