After reading Psalms 106:13-31, these are my thoughts about our current world:

Have we forgot his works; not waited for his counsel?
Have we lusted exceedingly in this world that has tried to crowd out God?
Have  we seen the earth opened and swallow up ciies filled with evil?

Have we created images and sat ourselves  before them all the day long?

Has this kept us so busy that we haven't had time to think about or read about God our saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

Have we murmured in our tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
Have we watched families relive over and over the sins of their parents when God has overthrown their seed also among the nations, and scattered them in the lands. They joined themselves with the many bad things in this world including alcholism, adultery, fornication and all around evils of this world.

Have we  provoked him to anger with the constant use of phones, tv, Internet, sports and other things that fill up our day and leave us no time for God?

Has anyone stood up like Phinehas, and executed judgment: (when he killed the israelite man and woman from Moab that were fornicating in the tent) Has anyone stood up and shown you the way that you are spending your time on things that keep you away from God?
Phinehas' deed was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

The last supper is complete
The advice is given then
Tells those without a sword
To buy one for the end

Lord, we have two
He responds " it is enough "
Does Jesus plan an ending
An battle that gets rough?

The time has come of the betrayal
His enemies are there
Peter pulls out his sword
And cuts off someone's ear

Does Jesus take the other sword
To help and to fight
No! He heals the ear
And brings peace and shines his light

We must love our enemies
Pray for those who do us wrong
It is easy to fight with weapons
But to be peaceful you must be strong

Seventeen years of rule,
Beginning with a rough start
He sat upon the throne
Though he prepared not his heart

He took advise from his friends
Instead of the wise old ones
The kingdom was then divided
By Rehoboam, King Solomon 's son

When God established his kingdom,
He started doing his own thing,
He forsook the law of The Lord,
Oh what troubles this did bring!

Many times when things go well,
We get high and  lifted up,
Thinking for our righteousness sake, (Deuteronomy 9:4)
We have this overflowing cup

We must prepare our hearts, (I Chronicles 29:18)
And with God, be sincere
Knowing our strength is not enough,
Coming to Him with tears

Begging for His mercies,
Lest we become consumed, (Lamentations 3:22)
With a contrite heart and broken spirit (Psalms 34:18)
Never lifted up like a fool

Deuteronomy 9:4
Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.

I Chronicles 29:18
O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

Philippians 1:10
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

Lamentations 3:22
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Psalms 34:18
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Obedient to her husband (Titus 2:5)
Even calling him Lord (I Peter 3:6)
With shamefacedness and sobriety
As to not blaspheme God's word (1 Tim. 2:9)

Christ endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2)
To submit to His Father's will (Luke 22:42)
Sara obeyed Abraham (I Peter 3:6)
She judged God faithful still. (Hebrews 11:11)

Christ was no less than God (Philippians 2:6)
Though God was his head (1 Cor 11:3)
Sara, not man nor woman (Galatians 3:28)
But a child of Christ instead

Her husband was her head (1 Cor 11:3)
But in the grace of life,
She was heirs together with Abraham, (I Peter 3:7)
Joint heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17)

Titus 2:5
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

I Peter 3:6
Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

I Tim 2:9
 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Luke 22:42
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

I Peter 3:7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Hebrews 11:11
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Philippians 2:6
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

1 Cor 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus

I Peter 3:7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

(Daniel 4)

The king had got confident
And was full of pride
God had shown him miracles
That he couldn't deny

He looked around at his kingdom
thought it was by his own hand
God taught him humility
Made him like a beast of the land

He ate the grass
And lived outside
It must have removed
Any trace of pride

But our God had mercy
The king's words were forgiven
He was restored his mind
And soon after, the kingdom

Be clothed with humility,( 1 Peter 5:5)
Our God resists the proud (Janes 4:6)
If your mind starts inflating
A fall may be coming around (Proverbs 16:18)

The Pharisee thought himself
Righteous. (Luke 18:10)
And better than the next guy
God rejected his prayers
His religion was a lie!

I Peter 5:5
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

James 4:6
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Prov 16:18
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Like 18:10-11
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Here are some words from Nebuchadnezzar that I enjoyed.....

praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

Wives shall give to their husbands honour,
both to great and small.
Vashti wouldn't come
When her kingly husband called

She had to be replaced
So the women wouldn't follow suit
They would all despise their husband
Because the queen had done it too

She will come no more before the king
Her estate given to someone better
The king chose from all the women
And selected the new queen, Esther

If you are a servant of Christ,
You will put your husband 's needs above your own
Just as Jesus submitted to God
And now sits at the right hand of the throne

Ephesians 5:22
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Ephesians 5:24
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Colossians 3:18
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in The Lord

I Peter 3:1
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Esther 1: 16-20
And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.

For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.

Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.

If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.

And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.

Adam was first formed
And he was not not deceived
But the woman was in transgression
When she did that fateful deed (Gen3:16)

I will multiply your sorrow,
When you bring forth your child,
Your husband will rule over you,
And his power you'll desire! (Gen 3:16)

Is it any wonder
That we see this, here, today?
Women who have lost their identity,
Trying to act like men, work and play?

A woman can change your tire
Or maybe even preach
Chase down mean old robbers
Who are terrorizing the streets

While others raise their babies
And please their husbands too
There is nothing these manly women
Are now afraid to do !

But who can find a virtuous woman,
That looks to her households and it's ways,
Strength and honor are her clothing,
Serving faithfully all her days!

Gen. 3:16
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Titus 2:5
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
