Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved. I Cor 10:33

The king got off his throne
And threw off all his kingly attire
Covered with sackcloth and ashes
His town was sinking in the mire!

A messenger sent from God
Has brought him the warning
Take heed, don't wait
A new day will soon be dawning

The Lord hears the cries
The whole town is on it's knees
He chooses to forgive the town
Wait, the messenger begins to flee

He is not happy
In fact, he even wants to die
Doest thou well to be angry?
Asked God, he wants to know why?

Jonah steps outside the city
His job is now done
The Lord lets a gourd grow
To protect him from the sun

The next day he wakes up
To find a worm devouring
Jonah is angry the plant is dead
His temper is arising

Doest thou well to be angry?
The Lord asks again
You didn't create the plant
It came from God's hand

Jonah didn't labor with it
Yet on it, he had pity,
Should not I, the Lord,
Do the same for Ninevah, that great city?

When you look around you
And are surrounded by those in sin
Does your heart cry out for them (even your enemies????)
For salvation to come in?

The Lord desires for all to be saved. (I Tim 2:4)
His miracles must be made known
Our God showers us with blessings
His seeds, we must sow!
