Remember the way The Lord has led you
These last forty years
To humble thee and prove thee
To see where you'd go in your fear

He let you get hungry
Then fed you with his hand
For man doesn't live by bread alone
But by the Word of God instead

He brought you to a beautiful place,
His blessings all around,
Then your heart got lifted up,
And trouble you found

Chastisement to sons,
The Father gives to those who serve,
Yet,  He has exacted far less,
Than our iniquities deserved (Job 11:6)

Job 11:6
And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

Deuteronomy 8
All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.

Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

In wrath , remember mercy,
O Lord, I'm afraid,
Revive thy work in the midst of my years,
Make known thine own ways (Hab 3:2)

Make me a vessel of honor,
Formed to do your will
Sanctified and holy (II Timothy 2:21)
Desiring to be perfect still (Matthew 5:48)

Help me put away the distractions
Found in every day
Help me to focus on Your Words
Grant me the grace to stay (Matthew 5:48)

Hab 3:2
O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

II Timothy 2:21
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Matthew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

Psalms 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

A wise woman builds her house
A fool plucks it down
What are the qualities of the wise?
Where is wisdom found?

The wise will put others first
And let herself go without
She will be able to be quiet
When trouble comes about

She labors both day and night
To raise her children well
Cares more about eternity
Than where on earth she dwells

She loves her husband so so much and to him she gives her all
Prepares a home just for him
His every beck and call

She is not forced to do these things
They all bring her much joy
Each day is such a blessing
Filled with great rewards

Eph 6
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord

"would God that all the LORD'S people were prophets,
and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them"

The seventy elders gathered
The Lord came down in a cloud
They all began to prophesy
His spirit was spread around

Medad and Eldad began
to prophesy within the camp
Joshua wanted to stop them
To Moses a message he sent

He wanted them to stop
But Moses gave him a reply
Oh, that all men would have the Spirit,
That all would prophesy!

Strengthen your brethren
Exhorting one another every day
Holding fast the faithful word
Convincing those that get out of the way

Luke 22:32
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Hebrews 3:13
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin

2 Tim 2:4
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Titus 1:9
Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

Psalms 31:23
O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Psalms 30:4
Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Joshua 1
A couple tribes have found
Their home in the promise land
Their lives are now at peace
A gift straight from God's hand

But Joshua calls them To help fight
With the brothers that haven't entered in
That do not have that place of rest yet
That God promised them

They leave their wives and children
To pick up the sword
When the land has all been conquered
They'll be free to enjoy

All of Gods many blessings
Peace all around
A land that's overflowing
Milk and honey will be found

We must strive to find that same rest (Hebrews 4)
That is offered to us today
We can cease from our own works as God did the seventh day

A place where things in this life
No longer move you
You are safely trusting God's plan
Letting His love guide you through

Traveling over stormy seas
Trying so hard to row
The savior was away praying
On a mountain all alone

The day had been a long one
Tending sheep without a Shepard
He had fed all of them
Even had some left over

But when the disciples were all alone
And caught up in the storm
They forgot all the miracles
That Jesus had performed

Are you now caught up
In one of this life's battles
Don't take your eyes off Jesus
He is the only thing that matters

Mark 6;51 And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

You intended evil to me
but God meant it unto good
Joseph told his brothers
They may not have understood

They threw him in a pit
And sold him as a slave
They were jealous for their fathers love
To Joseph, Jacob clave

All things work for good
To those who serve the Lord (Romans 8:28)
The trials and the tribulations
Make you stronger in the Word

Where else can you go?He holds the words to eternal life (John 6:68)
Contending for the faith (Jude 1:3)
Staying away from all this world's strife

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
( I am not meaning to change the typeset, I can't figure out what happened next).   (;
John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Jude 1:3
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Without the true God
Without a teaching priest
Without law in Israel
A problem to say the least

King Asa was in charge
The prophecy was told
He decided to take courage
And let his weak hands become bold

He renewed the altar
Threw the idols out
The people decided to join him
Their promise they began to shout

Seven hundred oxen
And seven thousand sheep
Were offered on the altar
The Lord's favor they did seek

King Asa took his mother's idol
That she made in the grove
He cut it, stamped it, burned it
And removed her from the throne

Lord, let our hands be strong
Each day make You the start
Don't let this world idols
Have a place in our heart

1 Chronicles 15

" And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul "

Fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites
His wrath doth make them afraid
Who shall dwell with the devouring fire
In His everlasting name?

He that walks uprightly,
With God fixed at his side,
Speaking words of truth,
Not interested  in bribes

This man closes his ears
To the hearing of blood,
His focus is  love and mercy
And things that are good

His eyes will not look on evil,
He knows the devils devise,
Desires to be one with His maker,
Seeking eternal life

Micah 6:
He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

The LORD'S voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

Is 33:14
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

The love of a father
Although he has been wronged
Is forgiving and merciful
And willing to suffer so long

His son took his inheritance
And spent it on wasteful things
He is coming home without
And absent of all his things

What reception should he expect?
No welcome,  that's for sure!
But he is treated like a king
His fathers heart is pure

First, he is welcomed with a kiss
Then a robe, ring and shoes
His father served him with a feast
And a love he never knew

O Lord, let me never be
That prodigal son
Help me keep my focus
On you, Lord
And off the pleasures of this world

Luke 15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Luke 15:21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

Luke 15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

Luke 15:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

Luke 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Luke 15:25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.

Luke 15:26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

Luke 15:27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

Luke 15:28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him.

Luke 15:29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

Luke 15:30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

Luke 15:31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

Luke 15:32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. Acts 4:20

What is the weather today?
What sports do you play?
Words that speak of vain things,
As the world begins to decay

The enemies of the cross of Christ,
Do mind the earthly things,
Their end is destruction,
Their glory is in their shame (Philippians  3:18-19)

Shouldn't every word be considered?
Uttered in Godly fear, (Hebrews 12:28)
Warning those around us,
That judgement is drawing near.

Sowing abundantly the Word, (I Cor 9:6)
With every breath we take,
Not sowing sparingly,
Lest little in, we rake

Having the same spirit of faith, (II Corinthians 4:13)
Of those who've walked before,
We believe, therefore we speak
Our breath will praise The Lord! (Psalms 150:6)

With conversation fixed on heaven (Philippians 3:20)
And eternal life,
Eyes fixed upon our Saviour,
The Lord Jesus Christ

As He who called you is Holy, (I Peter 1:15)
Your conversation should also be,
Speaking wisdom ( not of this world) (I Corinthians 2:6)
And striving to live in love perfectly.
(I John 4:18)

Hebrews 12:28
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

I Cor 9:6
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

II Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Psalms 150:6
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Philippians 3:20
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

I Peter 1:15
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

I Peter 1:18
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

I Corinthians 2:6
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

I John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Philippians  3:18-19
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
