When my flesh is weak,
And I am overwhelmed with pain,
I remember my Redeemer, (Job 19:25)
His suffering and the shame (Heb. 12:2)
He does not and will not change, (Hebrews 13:8 )
Although this life has its ups and downs,
The true Foundation, the Rock, (I Cor. 10:4)
Blesses us with angels encamped around ( Psalms 34:7)
The same tomorrow and yesterday
The strength of my heart, (Psalms 73:26)
The God who remains the same,
Yet, now we only know in part...(I Cor. 13:9-10)
When that which is perfect is come,
And we see face to face, (I Cor. 13:12)
The truth will be brought to life,
And things will fall into place
