(Daniel 4)

The king had got confident
And was full of pride
God had shown him miracles
That he couldn't deny

He looked around at his kingdom
thought it was by his own hand
God taught him humility
Made him like a beast of the land

He ate the grass
And lived outside
It must have removed
Any trace of pride

But our God had mercy
The king's words were forgiven
He was restored his mind
And soon after, the kingdom

Be clothed with humility,( 1 Peter 5:5)
Our God resists the proud (Janes 4:6)
If your mind starts inflating
A fall may be coming around (Proverbs 16:18)

The Pharisee thought himself
Righteous. (Luke 18:10)
And better than the next guy
God rejected his prayers
His religion was a lie!

I Peter 5:5
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

James 4:6
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Prov 16:18
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Like 18:10-11
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Here are some words from Nebuchadnezzar that I enjoyed.....

praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
