Joshua has lived his years
Now he is put to rest
Israel's enemies start rising up
To put them to the test

Would the tribes be strong
Utterly destroy the enemy
Would they leave a remnant
Would they turn and flee?

God made a covenant with them
Brought them Across the Red Sea
God wanted them to stay separate
Not become like their enemies

God wants the same thing
From your family today
He wants your undivided love
Someone who will watch and pray

He doesn't want you bowing down
Like the idolaters all around you
He wants devoted followers
When He returns, in Him will you be found?
