Consider Your Ways!

(Haggai 1:5-6)
Consider your ways, people of God
Think about this thing
You spend your day sowing a lot
But little in you bring

You eat but don't have enough
Your clothed but never warm
There something missing from your life
This lesson must you learn!

Go up and build a house (Haggai 1:8-9)
Where glorified He will be
Be strong and set to work
On Him your every thought should be

You must seek first the kingdom (Matt 6:31-33)
The rest will be added to you
You've been seeking to do these things
Without His strength, it's true.

Cry out for His mercy, (Exodus 15:13)
Repent from your evil ways (II Kings 17:13)
Let the Spirit if The Lord consume
Every second of your day

Haggai 1:5-6
Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

Haggai 1:8-9
Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.
Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

Matt 6:31-33
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Exodus 15:13
Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

II Kings 17:13
Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
